Honey, an organic Lactic Acid, has many functions in this exfoliating crème.  Honey is valued as a humectant because of its sugar content which provides soothing properties.  Somewhat acidic, it has mild antiseptic properties, which make it beneficial in the treatment of problem skin.  Other specially selected ingredients such as Sodium PCA and Niacinamide are added to hydrate and improve elasticity.
